how to remove a programe from the add/remove list manually

i am using winXP home, i just remove a programe from the
start menu(start>>all programes>>name of the
programe>>uninstall),but the programe name is still in
the add/remove list, and when i click on change/remove,
it does nothing no error msg or whatever.

how do i remove it from the add/remove list.

Start>Run, type: regedit, enter,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Uninstall, scroll down and find the program entry
and right click and delete, it will be gone.
