How to properly configure BCM on a sbs 2008 x64 using outlook 2010database tool

I installed the new BCM 2010 database tool on my small business server
2008. i created a new database and gave permissions to users on a
domain. However i can't access to the database using outlook 2010 and
bcm 2010 on a windows 7 x64 client. I used the option remote database
and inserted the name of my server (in this case ADVDSERVER) but
nothing. BCM can't find the database on the specific computer

SBS 2008 has sql server 2005 installed by default. The instance i
chose was sbsmonitoring. I deactivated the firewall on the server too
but still no connection.

Anyone was able to have this server/client scenario properly installed
and working.

Thank you.

Hi Mario,

Just to clarify, what version of sql server are you running (x64 or
x86)? What version of Outlook and BCM are you running (x64 or x86)?

I know that the 2007 version only supports english office/BCM versions.
Don't think this is solved in the 2010 version. Do you use an english office
version?
