How to NOT forward emails as .eml?

D

Dan

Hello all,

My job depends on me forwarding emails to various companies, but since I've
moved from webmail's .msg type to Window's Mails .eml format, I've been
having problems.

Most places I forward my emails to (as .eml attachments) now reject the .eml
format and simply bounce back. The only way for me to get around this with
WM is to save the emails individually and zip them up and send them as a
..zip - which is amazingly time consuming and a real pain in the rear to be
honest.

Is there anyway I can forward emails as attachments NOT as .eml format?

Thanks,

Dan

I don't see a way around it. There are other workarounds, such as drag the
message to the desktop and rename it to give it a txt file extension. If
you had a bunch, you could drag them all to a blank directory and then
rename them all in a single command. Also, you could do a CTRL-F3 on the
message that opens the source in Notepad and you can copy that and paste it
into the bottom of a message to show the entire message source and content
intact or copy and paste the message store into a Notepad window and save
that. All of those workarounds though won't save you much if anytime over
what you are doing now though, I would guess.
