How to merge Personal Address Books

Is it possible to merge Personal Address Books?

At work we have Exchange Server and use Outlook for
email. Personal Address Book names are in the format
userid.pab. Recently my userid name changed and now I
have some addresses in userid1.pab and userid2.pab (the
real names have been changed to protect the innocent).

Is it possible to merge the two into one? Is it possible
to do the same with the personal folders (the .pst files)?

Thanks in advance for your replies,

Phil

Here's an excerpt from MSKB article 169709:

NOTE: There is no method for merging one Personal Address Book file with another. By using the Outlook Import and Export Wizard, you can merge the active Personal Address Book entries into your Contacts folder.

For information about importing a Personal Address Book into your Contacts folder, type import in the Office Assistant, click Search, and then click to view "Import a Personal Address Book into a Contacts folder."
