I want to add a third HDD.

In addition to the other good advice...
Make sure you get a good one.

Keep in mind that a lot of supplies are made by the same company and
re-branded. Look for model numbers beginning with "FSP"(used by
AOpen, Sparkle and others). Good supplies for the price.

242 Watts was without Symbios SCSI ISA card. How much does the Symbios SCSI
ISA card require?

Jim Macklin

Assume that the card will draw 10 watts, that puts you at
101% of the PSU rated capacity and that is without the
addition drive you want to add. You are over capacity and
need a new power supply. You need at least 400 Watts from a
good name brand that will really deliver rated power at 100%
duty cycle.

400 Watts will give you a little cushion.

I think you have been answered, can't come to you and hold
your hand.

Thank you, Jim Macklin.
242 Watts are with the third drive. Does ISA card consume less than a PCI
card?
