How to get password prompt for .pst file on CD (No permission whe.

I have an archived .pst file on CD. This is my email at work (Outlook 98).
When I try to open or import, I get "you don't have permission" response.

How do I get to a password prompt?

Do I need to contact my IT guy and get his password?

My current system is XP with Office 2003.

Copy the PST file to your hard disk, remove the Read Only attribute.

Outlook wants to open PST files in Read/Write mode; files on CDs are
Read Only.
