How do I get to see or change the definition of one?

    Here's the problem - I have a form based on a table.

Some time ago I created a pivot table on it, it has a total field called Rcvd
    Net.

I put it into a table and right click and look at its properties. the
    properties says
"total source field" is Net Receipt. Net Receipt is not a field in my data
source and is not visible on my form anywhere. How do I get at that "field"
and verify or change its definition?

If I try and create a new field called "Net Receipt" it disallows it saying
    the field already exists.
