How to customise size of powerpoint slides printed on "handouts"?

I'm using Powerpoint 2000, and I print most presentations as Handouts with 3
or 6 slides per page. When I'm printing 3 slides per page I'd like to have
larger slides than the default that comes out - this will make the material
easier to read. As people have space to write out the right, I want slides
to have minimial gap between then.
Thanks

Thanks very much - the handout wizard worked perfectly!

You will need to use either File/Send to Word or grab Shyam's handout wizard
http://www.mvps.org/skp/how/ or Bill's Slide Into Word (can't remember off
the top of my head if that one lets you resize the images or not, though)

Yes, from 1/2" to 6" thumbnails.
