How to completely remove third party software from windows?

Hi folks,
I downloaded Macromedia 30-day trial Flash MX. Upon expiry, I removed the
Flash MX trial through the "add/remove programs" in control panel, but there
are there are still traces (folders) lying somewhere in the registry that
stays rooted and undeletable that prevents re-installing of the same
software.

So to sum things up, you like their software enough to want to continue to
use it but don't want to pay for it? I don't know exactly how they do it
but I suspect that during the install process they put some obscure entry
into the registry that is not easily found and of course is not removed
during the un-install process. This seems to be a very common practice
with trial versions of software. You could try searching the registry for a
macromedia entry but I don't think they would make it that obvious.

Reset the date on your PC to the original date when you installed the
program. It should then reinstall.
