Hello,

I've been using Windows Defender for a few years and I'm starting to run out
of memory on my main drive. After cleaning up some files the system started
to complain again, after only a few hours, that C: drive is running out of
space... While investigating file modified today, I found a 13 MB file in
the top 10 largest files modified today:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
Defender\Support\MPLog-02102007-184834.log

The file is 3 years old and contain a bunch of resource scan log entries. I
didn't find a way to configure this in the Windows Defender interface to
move it to another drive or to clear it... Can I just delete the file?

Thank you,
Alain.

I just did so with the like file on my Windows 7 machine, having navigated
via Explorer. If you are sure you don't need the data, I think this would
be fine.
