How to clear a cache on WMP11

You guys know how to clear this cache in WMP11?

The cache that I am talking about is when you edit a song, lets say an
artist name, but you mistyped the name of the artist, and now it appears
whenerver you try to edit another song, and type in the first letter of such
artists name.

How can you clear that up, without having to open a new user account?
Do you have an specific name for it?
Thank you.

Not many WMP11 users out here primarily due to the many problems
like yours. Suggest you look at their website for a possible answer,
unless another reader has a solution. I'm still sticking with WMP10
for the time being.

Well, do you know how to clear such cache in WMP10? That will apply to WMP11
as well.

Thank you.

The WMP installation files are in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player. If
you would rather clear these cache files through Windows Explorer, go to
C:\Documents & Settings\**YOURNAME***\Application Data\Microsoft. Application
Data is a hidden folder. If you cannot see it then you need to go to Tools >
Folder Options, click on the view tab and click the bubble to "Show hidden
files and folders". In the Microsoft folder, delete the "Media Player"
folder.
