how to change your photos from .bmp format to .jpeg format

I need to upload a pic that is in .bmp format but it won't except it cause it
needs to be in .jpeg format. How can i take a pic in .jpeg format when all it
lets me save it as .bmp format?

Right click on the picture.
Click on Open with on the opening menu.
Click on Paint on the opening list.
The picture will open in Paint.
Click on File on the top bar.
Click on Save As.
In the opening window, Save as type, scroll to JPG and click on Save.
You now have a new file in your folder in jpg format.

Are you selecting a *.jpeg picture from the internet and selecting "Save As" and
only choice is *.bmp?

Empty your Temporary Internet Files folder.

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Internet Options>General>TIF<Delete Files.

Try the Save As aagin.

Yves Alarie I would like to thank you for making it possible to change bmp to
Jpg I have wanted to find out the answer for a long time and I thank you or
giving me the solution I'm so excited at knowing how to Have a happy holiday
