How to add a line in BOOT.INI to allow you to boot from a CD from the Boot menu?

Dear friends:

How to add a line in BOOT.INI to allow you to boot from a CD from the
boot menu?

I don't have access to the machine BIOS, so I think that this
alternative can solve the problem about how to boot it from a CD.

Any hint?

Thanks

Boot.ini does not have a facility to include a CD boot option.
As far as I know, you have just two options:
a) By changing the boot order in the BIOS, or
b) By installing a third-party boot loader that has a CD boot facility.

XOSL is a free boot loader that can do this. Unfortunately it
must reside on a dedicated 15 MByte partition or else on an
existing FAT/FAT32 partition. Warning: If you want to experiment
with XOSL, use a spare disk until you are comfortable with this
tool.

P.S. Your English is much better than the English I see in some
of the posts written by native English speakers.
