How do you make Windows Mail the default mail server?

When I try to send a picture or file from a folder on my desktop, (from the
Send To - Mail Recipient option) Microsoft Outlook comes up as the default
mail server. The same thing occurs when I use the 'read mail' link from
Internet Explorer. Any suggestions?

Michelle Miller,
There is a recent update for MS Outlook's Junk filter. To my knowledge, every
time Outlook gets updated it becomes the default Mail client. So you will need
to make the change back to VistaMail, WinLive Mail, or OE, if you also have MS
Outlook installed on your PC.

Control Panel> Internet Options> Programs tab> Select VistaMail as the default
Mail client.

Go to default programs, either from the start menu or in Control
Panel>Set your default programs>wait for the list of programs to
populate>select Windows Mail and ensure that it is set as default.

Select Internet Explorer and do the same.

Also while in the Default Programs, click on "Set program
access and computer defaults." Select Custom, and
then select Internet Explorer. Then Windows Mail & Click OK.
