How do I remove mouse clicks and pops from narration recording?

I get mouse clicks and pops in my narration recording. I press enter or click
on the mouse to move to the next slide. I have tried Audacity and its giving
me a RunTime Error. What else can I do. Please need urgent help on this!!!!

First, make sure that you use the Link narrations option in the Record
Narration dialog box.

Then close PowerPoint and open the narration files in an audio editor like
Audacity, Adobe Audition or Sony Sound Forge and remove the clicks. You can
find more info and click-removal tutorials on the product web sites.
