How do I print form field shading in a document?

I have a letter that will be used as a template for different clients. I have
entered the form fields correctly and they are shaded on the screen. When I
print the doc, the shading is not present. I need to see the shading. Office
online help suggested I highlight via borders and shading option, but this
would take way too much time.

Any suggestions? Your help would be appreciated.

Have you checked whether your printer is set to 'draft' - as this may be the
cause? Draft printing options may ignore shading etc.,

You could probably use a fairly simple macro to do this. What kind of thing do
you prefer? (And which version of Word?)

I could be wrong. Let's see...yep, it appears that it is (but shading of
other fields is not).
