How do I insert a pst file to an e-mail to send to another e-mail?

I want to send my contacts from my work computer to my home computer. I
exported the contacts folder as a pst file. The import/export wizard would
not let me complete the export without adding the .pst tag to the file name.
But, when I try to e-mail the file as an attachment to my home computer it is
blocked by Outlook because of the the .pst tag.

What do I do? Thanks

Hi Mike,

This newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Access database
software, so not the place for expert answers to Outlook questions.
Also, since it's the company's computer maybe you should ask the company
helpdesk first.

That said, the second thing I'd do would be to zip up the .pst file
(either by adding it to a Windows XP compressed folder or by using
compression software such as WinZip). Most email software lets zipped
files through.

But the first thing I'd do is check that your home contacts manager can
read .pst files. If not, export the contacts to a CSV file.
