I am trying to get rid of IncrediMail but when I uninstall it my Outlook
doesn't work -I can send but not receive emails in Outlook (after
uninstalling IncrediMail).

Help, this is driving me nuts and I do not want IncrediMail any more.

Have you tried to do a repair operation on Outlook after uninstalling
Incredimail?

What version of Outlook and what error do you get when you try to receive
e-mails?

I am using Outlook 2003 and there are no error messages I simply cannot
receive emails through Outlook. It is almost as if something is missing. I
have, unfortunately, been using IncrediMail for a few years and I had it on
my system when I upgraded to Office 2003. I have thought about simply
reinstalling my office suite (or Outlook if I can do that alone) after
uninstalling the IncrediMail. I really appreciate any help. Thanks.

And there are still messages left on your server? Do you have a virusscanner
that integrates with Outlook? Disable the integration (see the documentation
of your virusscanner on how to do that) and try again.

In the Outlook send/receive box and under the task tab, it says it is
receiving a message and under progress it says it is processing. Outlook has
asked me for my network password but my unser name and password has not
changed and reentering them seems to make no difference.
Should I perhaps simply remove the old account and add a new one?
Also, under the error tab it does incidate that the server has responded:
-ERR unvalid username or password. I will reinstall IncrediMail and email my
ISP to see if they can help??
