How do I get Outlook to print the list of attachments?

Outlook 2003 doesn't default to printing a list of attachments to all emails
(seems to vary between HTMP and other formats). Users generally wish to see
the attachments scheduled on a print-out - please advise how to make this
happen.

Before printing, change the format of your message to plain text and your
attachment name(s) will print out.

Hi,
you have to use the Text or Plain Text format to print out your attachments!

The answers given were fine as work arounds, namely using Plain Text for
reading email rather than HTML format, however I don't see why the HTML
format should have this limitation. Also it now means that the standard
company footers etc print out poorly (style and spacing) which is frustrating
to say the least.

For anybody else with the same problem, to simply change format means going
to "Tools" then "Options" then "Preferences" tab then "E-mail Options" and
checking the "Read all standard mail as plain text" box - long whinded eh!?
Once checked all emails then read will conform to the Plain Text format.

Come on Microsoft - make the new software better than the previous version
(or as least as good).

I posted this on 11/03/2004, and I also received the answer 'print in plain
text', which is not the solution:
---
It seems a fairly easy request. When printing an HTML email, at the top of
the page, where From, Sent, To, and Subject, CC and Importance can appear, I
want my Attachments to appear!

I've done this on another machine that's running Outlook 2003, so I know it
can be done, but I can't for the life of me remember what magic trick I
evidently did to make it happen.

There is NOTHING in the online help, I've tried various phrasing and yet
NOTHING. I can't be the only one that needs this...
---

Like I wrote, it can be done, I'm looking at an email that I printed from
the computer that actually does it! It's not the icon like in a plain text
format, just a nice line item. Example:

To: (e-mail address removed)
Subject: Your Subject Here
Attachments: filename.ext

Very clean, and presentable (which is why I use HTML in the first place).
Both computers that I referenced above have the exact same version of Outlook
on them (from a 5-seat license). I've looked in Options, Customize, Page
Setup, everywhere that you would think it to be, and nothing. The
frustrating part is that it can be done!!!

If anyone knows how to get the Attachment line to print in HTML format ,
please provide INSTRUCTIONS.

Sorry for the long reply!
