How do I find critical update without using "Windows Update"

I've no internet connection at home. But I'd like to keep my PC up to date.
I've installed SP4 and few other updates that I knew of. How do i find the
rest updates I need for my PC so that I can download them from elsewhere
that got internet connection?

Most of the Windows Update files can be d/l directly. You will need to go
to Windows Update and scan your machine. Then you can click on "more
info..." Those are the articles about the d/ls and from there you can get
the direct link. Right-click on the direct link and choose Copy Shortcut.
Then paste into notepad and you now have the direct link which you can use
at any machine connected to the Internet.

Now the bugger is of course getting the Updates you need. Let's put it this
way if the machine is NOT connected to the Internet you don't need any. SP4
is sufficient.
