.How do I edit an XPS document ?

Using OFFICE 2007 Standard I created and saved an .XPS document many months
ago. I now want to edit and re-save the document. Can I do that or do I have
to create and save a new .XPS document?

XPS is the MS home-grown [semi] equivalent of PDF, not intended to be
editable. For more detail have a look at the wiki link below:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML_Paper_Specification

The 2nd para under the Technology caption of that article refers to being
able to unzip to access the pieces within but you'd be far better off to
edit the original .doc(x) and generating a new .xps unless you happen to be
an XML specialist... not even sure that will help:)

Hi,

if it's a small correction you could use our NiXPS v1.5 tool:
http://nixps.com/download.html

It contains a document inspector, which allows you to navigate to the
page and edit the XML directly.

We're working on more (interactive) editing tools as we speak.

Regards,
Nick.
