I want to set a global template in outlook that can be accessed by anyone
clicking on a url link within our document management system. I can add a url
ok, and i can create a template within my local email account. What i can't
seem to find is any information on global templates. EG launch doc management
system click on url which has an address to sales, but in order to capture
all the relevent details i need to create a template. I'm not a techy so plan
english would be great, many thanks for any help you can give me..we are on
windows 2003 if that helps

Ok, probably not worded correctly.
What i mean is by clicking the URL it takes you to a global template of
sorts where specific information about an order can be obtained, like name,
address, cost code etc. Basically an order form. My only other option is to
create some kind of work flow in our document system that hocks into exchange
and just emails the required information to the relevant people. However i
was hoping i could do this in exchange. Hope that helps, thanks

To make this work, you must be able to publish forms to the Organizational Forms library on Exchange or make all the functionality work in a form posted in a public Exchange folder. I'd suggest you talk with your Exchange administrator before proceeding further. If you get a green light from them, then see http://www.outlookcode.com/d/formonweb.htm for code to launch a published form with client-side code on a web page and http://www.outlookcode.com/d/forms.htm for basic form creation information.
