How do I close the document I've just saved, but not close word?

This might be a dumb question, but in past versions of Word, the top right
would basically have two X's....one to close out of the current document but
keep Word open...and the other to close out of both. In Word 2007, it only
gives me the option to close entirely out of Word. But, I might just be
missing something...I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I do not know what a QAT is...I
just did a run through of the options in Word, but couldn't find anything
titled QAT.

Thank you anyway!

Quick Access Toolbar - it's the row of icons above the ribbon. I suggest
that if you don't know that, you get a simple book about Word
2007.....or look online at some of the many tutorials...
