Hi Tina,
You can not replace the default placeholders in the notes master or modify
the textbox to work with columns (as Word will do). Nor can you insert the
table on the notes master because that table will not be accessible from the
notes pages at all.
However, you can manually replace the notes display text box with a three
column table on each of the notes page for each slide, but this will not
autofill with the text from the slide notes.
Could you tell us a bit more about the look/behavior you are seeking so that
we can make better recommendations on how to achieve it. The notes page
formatting is a bit limited.
