How do I cancel future occurences of recurring meeting in outlook

I created a recurring meeting but the day and time has now changed. Is there
a way to "delete all future meetings" without changing data about past
meetings? This was an option on e-mail program I used before outlook years
ago (can't remember what it was - something associated with WordPerfect I
think), but can't figure out if this is possible in outlook 2003.

If the old appointments do not contain exceptions, you can change the end
date on the appointment. if you have exceptions, changing the end date will
regenerate the appointment and wipe out the exceptions. In this case, export
the calendar to excel, clean it up (remove other appointments) them import
the formerly recurring appointments.

Is there a solution if I'm not the organizer? If I ask the organizer
to remove me from the meeting To: list, then I will disappear from all
the meeting instances. I only want to be removed from future
instances.

AFAIK, there is no way to remove you from future occurrences without
affecting the ones in the past. If you need to keep the past ones for
reference, export them then import them as individual appointments. Then you
can delete the recurring meeting or ask the organizer to remove you.
