How do hide details of my appointments in "Schedule a Meeting"?

When planning a meeting with multiple attendees, I can see the details of
some people's appointments when I hover the cursor over the time frame on the
planning calendar. I don't see appointment details for others which leads me
to believe there there is a setting to hide the details of appointments.

I want to be able to hide the details of my appointments from others. How
do I do this?

If you set the appointment as private, it won't appear when others view your
free/busy information.

The ones you can see when you hover have given you permission to see their
Calendar. Only people to whom you set permissions will see your Calendar
details. So if you give nobody permissions, you'll never need to mark
anything Private.

Tools->options->Calendar Options->Planner Options. Uncheck the box next to
"show calendar details in grid."
