If you mean turn off your monitor when turning off your PC, this is not a
Windows function but a function of to what outlet your monitor is connected
to and even if it supports this type of function. First, PCs used to come
with an outlet into which you could plug the monitor. In doing so, when the
PC shutdown, the monitor would shutdown as well. Most PCs today don't have
that option. Also, some monitor manufacturers don't advise turning the
monitor off in this fashion as it is tantamount to turning off a device by
pulling the plug. If you do receive suggestions as to how this can be
accomplished, check your documentation or with the monitor manufacturer to
see if this is advisable as it might have an effect on monitor life.
