Actually it wasn't just those that pay for Hotmail that were having
problems. Using the free service, I couldn't read my mail in a browser,
but could through Outlook, or OE.

I see in the "article" where "customers who pay for services" were having
issues/troubles, but nothing about how it "snarls pay services" provided by
I assume a 3rd party vendor.

I believe it was because MS just instituted it's Web Browser Only/No
Outlook & OE Hotmail Accounts for new Hotmail members this week.
