Home directory mapping only mapping the \\servername\sharename.

We are seeing an issue where the profile will have a home directory
mapped to something like \\servername\sharename\userid and when the
user logs in it only maps their H: drive to \\servername\sharename
instead of the full path. I have seen it several times and when you
relogin it works or remap it works. Any ideas why it would do this?

If the clients were not running a version of Windows NT, it would do this.

No offense, but if you have no clue, then don't post. First off the
machines that are exhibiting the problem are XP. Second the
\\servername\sharename\userid works fine in most cases. %username% is
a variable and is ok to use but not required.

I have seen this happen in situations where the users do not have a
least "list" on the root of the share.
