Hindi (Arabic) Numerals in Reports Access XP

M

Michael Sleman

I have gotten arabic numerals (non-western) to show up
everywhere on Access forms/data entry by going to
Properties on the textbox/field and then ALL -> Numeral
Shapes = Context.

The problem is when I view reports. Everything looks fine
in Design View, when going to preview or print, they show
regular western numerals and my numbers are printed
wrong. I would have arabic text with english numbers in
the middle. I've searched and have not found how to fix
this. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Michael

Follow the steps below:

Go to regional settings >

Install Arabic Formats which installs all the libraries of Arabic.

Then go to Additional Settings and play with Standard Digits and Use Native Digits

This will serve your purpose.

Please note: you need to restart on every instances, either the pc or the application.
