"Hidden" files not hidden

Kevin

I am running XP and have a folder with a lot spreadsheets
for my business - they are "hidden" in a "hidden" folder
for security reasons. I have the ADMINISTRATOR account
and my sons have their own LIMITED accounts. Trouble is
ANY one of them can, and have, changed their "view"
settings so they can view and edit these files. I
thought "hiding" these would make them safe from anyone
but me. I was wrong.

How can I secure these files and still let other people
use my computer???

Microsoft's idea of "hiding" files is SO incredibly lame
and stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

microsofts hiding files isnt there to hide your porn from
your kids (if you were serious you would password protect
the excel document), its there so when your browsing
around your system you dont accidently do something to the
importent system files ....
