    hello,

everytime i try to convert avi and mpg files with windows
media encoder 9, it says that it has enountered a problem
and needs to restart. I never had this problem before.
i've uninstalled and reinstalled the encoder a few times
    but it didnt work.
i know many other users have experienced this problem
(cause i've browsed thru the net and many have complained
about the same problem), but it seems microsoft has not
responded well (at least on its encoder page) to this
    problem.

anyone knows how to fix this problem?

    thanks.
