Help with cabling

Discussion in 'Video Cards' started by Brotherwarren, Apr 17, 2008.

  1. Hi,

    I need to pass a d-sub 15 pin cable through a wall.

The idea is to show video clips stored on a PC that is kept in a
secure location on a lcd-tv. If I were to just drill a hole to pass
the cable through it'd need to be about 1 inch in diameter to allow
    the connector to pass through.

Is it possible to just drill a 1cm hole, pass a cable thorugh and
solder on the connector on the other side, the idea
