itsme isn't saying Norton is causing the virus - he is just saying it ain't any good, and advising you uninstall it and put a decent AV on there ;)

Well you have been infected at some point by the Spyfalcon/SpywareQuake etc and also Trojan.Vundo as there are remnants within your log.

Lets deal with Spyfalcon first.....

Run HijackThis again tick and fix the following:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\400aa18b.exe

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5f4c3d09-b3b9-4f88-aa82-31332fee1c08} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp100.tmp (file missing)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8810C947-BB0C-4E7B-A0A1-12129A14493B} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmkhe.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [400aa18b.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\400aa18b.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Uaol] "C:\DOCUME~1\Ryan\MYDOCU~1\SMANTE~1\regsvr32.exe" -vt yazr

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [400aa18b.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Ryan\Local Settings\Application Data\400aa18b.exe

O9 - Extra button: PartyPoker.net - {F4430FE8-2638-42e5-B849-800749B94EED} - C:\Program Files\PartyPoker.net\partypokernet.exe (file missing)

O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: PartyPoker.net - {F4430FE8-2638-42e5-B849-800749B94EED} - C:\Program Files\PartyPoker.net\partypokernet.exe (file missing)

You also need to run all the fixes HERE exactly as instructed - then run CCleaner to remove any rubbish left behind (untick the Yahoo Toolbar install option).

Download, install and run Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D and SpywareBlaster in Safe Mode available HERE .

When done, please re-post a new HijackThis log :thumb:
