I am posting this because I don't know where to go for help. Can you
steer me to a Google Group or give me a link?
My wife has asked me to help with a problem she has installing a game
on her computer. She usually has no problem but can't install
a new game and the game company never answers her emails. Any help
you can give me would be very, very much appreciated.

After installing the third and last disc at the very end of the
installation she gets the message "The wrong volume is in the drive.
Please
insert volume 'The Abbey' into drive E."

Can you tell me what this message means or steer me to a link that
might be able to help. Thank you very much.

foxmulder919,
In addition to what Mort stated. Some CD games require that a "Data CD" be
placed in the CD-ROM to actually play the game, these files are not installed
during the installation process, on purpose, to stop individuals installing the
same game on multiple PC's. Or use less space on the HDD to play the game.

It means she has the wrong disc in the drive. Perhaps at the end she
has to put the FIRST disc back in.

Try that.
