Help on connecting power supply to motherboard

Hello,

I recently bought a new power supply for my pc. It's AOpens' Silent
Power with the ATX 12v 2.0 Version. I've looked in the manual of my
motherboard and it states that it's designed for ATX 12v 1.0. Now
everything works fine but i've just a question about the ATX2 or 12V
connector.

On my motherboard there is a connector called ATX2 and the manual
states that the 4 pins are used as follows: 2 com and 2 +12VDC pins. My
new power supply has 2 wires with a 4 pin connector attached to the
end: 1 attached to the main power connector, and one not. The one wich
is attached to the main power has folowing colors: black, orange,
yellow and red and the other has black, black, yellow and yellow.

Wich wire should i connect to the ATX2 connector on my motherboard.

Thanks in advance,
Patrice

The one that is black and yellow connects to the motherboard
and the other one is not used at all. Do not even try to
connect the other one, it could damage the power supply or
at the very least would prevent it from working.

There shouldn't be a need to know which wire is which because every
connector on an ATX power supply is keyed so it will only plug in one way.
