Help. Innaccessble boot device after upgrade

Hi,
I had my win2k system running great with all latest updates etc, and
as I knew I was going to upgrade my mobo. cpu and ram, I downloaded
sysprep, can't recall what version now, and ran it. That is I clicked on
said file then clicked 'yes'. Win2k shutdown, and I proceeded with the
upgrade. When All was done I tried to boot win2k and had all my new
drivers to hand when asked for. Well, it never even got that far as got a
BSOD error message telling me that there was an innaccesble boot device.

I have tried running the repair option 'startup environment', but it has
made no difference.

I don't really want to start all over again, but only as a last resort.

Is there anything I can do to get back into win2k without re installing?

Thanks

Sysprep clears out all unique identification for the computer, but the
build is still for the same hardware. Sysprep removes the SID, all
accounts and such like that, but leaves the driver base intact. It's
used for setting up a Ghost image for distribution on a network with
computers that have almost the exact same hardware in them.

Start the install, don't select "Repair" the first time you see it,
select it the second time you see it, should get you back up and
running...
