Have Windows 2003 domain controller, want to add a Windows 2000 domain controller

I have a single server Windows 2003 active directory. This server also has
Exchange 2003 on it. I want to add a Windows 2000 server to the network and
make it a domain controller as well. Can I do this? The Windows 2000 server
will be running SQL Server 2000 if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance!

There should be no problem as far as adding a Win2K DC to a "normal" Win2k3
domain. However, your combination of SQL and Exchange on the DCs is very
troubling. If you are doing this because you can't afford the additional
hardware, it's understandable, but if that's not the main reason you are
doing this, then it's inexcusable.

as long has you have the 2003 domain in "mixed mode for windows 2000 and
2003 dc you will have no problem. if it is native 2003 mode you can't do
it. to check this out you can check AD domain and trusts and right click on
the domain and chose properties or the same thing in AD users and computers
