Haven't seen this before

What is Harden-It ?
Harden-It is a Network and System hardening tool for Windows, by
hardening the IP stack your Network can sustain or completely thwart
various sophisticated network attacks. Harden-It is intended for advanced
or professional user.

Contradiction on the site.
Says;
Supported Windows versions :

· Windows NT
· Windows 2000 (All versions).
· Windows 2003 (All versions).

(i.e. not XP)

but also says;

"Network Hardening Feature Set (Only NT,2000,XP,2003) :
· Harden your server's TCP and IP stack (Netbios, ICMP, SYN, SYN-ACK..)
· Protect your servers from Denial of Service and other network based attacks
· Enable SYN flood protection when an attack is detected
· Set the threshold values that are used to determine what constitutes an attack
· Various other protections.

New in version 1.2 (14/01/2005) :
· Bug Fix : EnableMulticastForwarding corrected.
· Feature added : Restrict Anonymous Access
· Feature added : Restrict Anonymous access to SAM
· Feature added : Disable Everyone Includes Anonymous
· Feature added : Show only new updates to this version.
· Feature added : Revert to default Windows settings optiona added.

Who should use Harden-IT ?
Harden-It is intended for the network/server administrator or the professional
internet user. You should not use this tool if you are a novice.

How much does it cost ?
Nothing, it is free."

Looks interesting.

Gordon
