Grow and Shrink in Animation

I am using XP and trying to get my picture (animation) to grow and shrink in
Powerpoint, I chose, Grow and Shrink as an option, and my picture grows,
however, it will not shrink back to size and I can't figure it out, I've been
trying for the past 3 days, what do I do, help me please

After you add the animation effect, click on the arrow next to the object
in the list of animations (lower right portion of your screen). Choose
"Effect Options." Check the box for "Auto-reverse." This will have it
grow and then shrink back to the original.

Try effect options "autoreverse"
