Greyed Out Foldes

When I view folders, or the contents, some images are greyed out. Does
anybody know why?
Thanks, Mike.

I believe that they are files/folders that are (normally) hidden by the
system.

If you goto 'Tools' menu>Folder Options>'View' tab
then you will see the option indented a little way down 'Hidden files and
folders' with two radio buttons below..

These are "Hidden" files and folders. Generally they are System files. You
must have enabled "Show hidden files and folder" found in Explorer
window->Tools->Folder Options->View Tab
