Grey Reading Pane saying "The item cannot be displayed in the Reading Pane"...

Need Help

After every reboot, I would open Outlook 2003 and it
would automatically check for e-mail (automatic
send/receive). After it's done checking, I would click on
an e-mail folder only to get a grey E-mail Reading Panel
saying either one of two messages:

1.Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook
could not access the specified folder location.

OR

2. The item cannot be displayed in the Reading Pane. Open
the item to read its content." while using your Personal
Folder file.

Then if I double click on a message to open it, I would
get another pop up error message saying:

-Microsoft Office Outlook-

Another application closed unexpectedly c:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst.' To prevent potential
damage to your Personal Folder file, it will not be
available until you close all applications using it.

I also noticed during this error if I go to the drop down
menu File > Data File Management > Settings (for Personal
Folders) I would get a error message 0x80040119.

After closing and reopening Outlook 2003, I would get a
message saying:

-Microsoft Office Outlook-

The data file 'Personal Folders' was not closed properly.

This file is being checked for problems.

After all these error messages, I would close Outlook and
reopen it again and would not experience it again (of
course until the next time I open Outlook after a
reboot). I have tried the Detect and Repair Tool under
the help menu many times but they haven't worked.

You have an addin accessing the pst - what programs do you have installed
that work with outlook?
