Google Starts Warning Malware-Infected Users

According to a post over at the official Google blog:

http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/using-data-to-protect-people-from.html

Google says they recently noticed "some unusual search traffic" while
performing routine maintenance on one of the company's data centers.
The traffic was being caused by a new strain of malware which causes
infected computers to send traffic to Google through a small number of
proxies.

Google says this malware was installed on several million machines
recently via fake AV software, and the warning directs users to clean
their systems. Given that many people are taught to ignore AV warning
websites as fake, it's not clear how many users will pay attention.
Google's blog post addresses the possibility of the warning also being
used as an additional layer of infection.

I wonder if they're going to start false-alarming on Tor users?
