Google confirms Nougat is Android 7.0 in statue unveiling video

When Google announced that Android N would officially be known as Android Nougat, we were all wondering what version number Nougat would get. Would it be Android 6.1? 7.0? We finally have the answer.

In its new statue unveiling video, Google has confirmed that Android Nougat is, in fact, Android 7.0.

now we'll all need new phones to use it.

Not long for the new Nexus' (Nexi?) if you believe the rumours... Codenamed Marlin and Sailfish.

Looking like they'll be made by HTC too. Which may or may not be a good thing.

I'm interested though, along with the upcoming new Note 7...
