GFX card issue

GFX card issue on BOINC

ok one of the pcs i'm running has a QuadroFX 4600 in it (a new addition, thanks ebay)

I keep getting messages from BOINC telling me it is unable to use the cards GPU
I know its more than capable so i'm at a loss

A bit of research tells me there are issues at times with the config files

But I ain't got a clue on how to incorporate the commands into the config_cc.xml

Anyone help, its sitting there doing nothing when its more than capable

Do you have a link to your research where it shows the commands ? And is the config_cc.xml file the same with all BOINC ?
Editing XML is childs play

It says open it with notepad or something similar

I looked and tried but still didn't work. I may have been getting the command sequence in wrong order?

What version of BOINC are you running? You must have 7.0.42 or later to use app_config.If you need to upgrade go to 7.0.54

It was running 6 10 58

I have updated it too 7 0 28 couldn't find 7 0 58
Although I didn't really go out of my way searching tbh

Its not made a difference but hopefully soon

Ok i've installed .58 on QuadroFX machine still does not pick up my card

Am I gonna have to change the config file for certain?

BOINC is recognising the card. When it attempts to DL files for it to crunch it then informs me the card is not eligible to do so.

Complete rubbish. I'd love to know why not!!

The config_cc.xml file is only needed, if you have more than one GPU in your computer.
