Get rid of File New template tabs

J

Julie

Hi - When I choose File, New, I see lots of tabs we don't
use. There are some new ones we've added, now the ones we
want to see are "falling off" the dialog box, while the
ones we don't want are showing. How do I get rid of
these? I have 100 users - hopefully I don't have to go to
each computer.

Thanks

If the tabs represent folders you've created in the user templates folder,
then you can remove them by removing those folders. More likely, they are
associated with Word's installed templates, which you can remove only by
uninstalling them. See "OFF2000: How Office 2000 Manages Templates" at
