Get Lots Of Junk Mail... But Don't Get Wanted Mail

OK, I have Vista and Windows Mail, I wasn't getting emails from people who
aren't in my contacts list, so I set my junk mail filter to low..... I get
lots of junk mail, but a few people have gotten their emails to me bounced
back to them (or else I just don't receive them) until I add them to my
contacts list..... a real pain seeing as I run a couple of small businesses
that have the little "email me" link.... so I'm sure I've missed some
important emails!!!! I always check the junk mail folder before I delete
things.... it's a real pain! Any solutions?
Thanks

humm, it's pretty much the way it goes i think me i set it up so that if
it's not in contact list it goes to junk mail folder, i also have to go to
junk mail to see if i missed some, but it's not that annoying it gets most
of the junk mail. may be 1 gets through during the year

I don't even get the emails in my junk folder, but I get lots of junk in my
inbox, because I set the filter to low I guess..... I did that to see if I
could get emails from people not in my contact list.......

Yes, I know, but that is not my problem, my problem is that I'm just plain
not receiving certain emails UNLESS the person is in my contact list, they DO
NOT even show up in my junk mail folder. This is no big deal with friends,
but I'm sure there are business emails I'm not receiving.... I don't mind
checking my junk mail folder.... it's a habit anyways. I just mentioned that
because I obviously don't have it set to only receive messages from people in
my contact list as I receive junk mail etc....

well, unless you have other filters to erase or move something to another
folder i fail to see how windows mail is simply not downloading certain
e-mail

I know, me neither, thats why I posted here :)

It shall remain an annoying mystery for now I suppose.... am I able to go
back to outlook express? I never had this problem before I switched over with
my new computer.... or do I have to pay to "downgrade"?

Windows Mail does not bounce messages back. Either you or your mail
provider is running an anti-spam program that is doing that.
