Game controller for pc

Hi All,


I am looking to get a Game controller for the pc, I was wondering if anybody has ever used one and if so they could recommend a good one to me?

I think some people here reccomend the Xbox one if thats the type of thing your looking for?

If you're going to go for the X-Box controller, I'd advise going for the wired version, the wireless PC X-Box gamepads are known to be problematic. I had two sent on seperate occasions to me by OCUK, both returned as faulty and I now have a wired one, it's good.

I also have the Logitech wireless rumble gamepad. They're both good, kind of equal too but if I was pushed to name the better one, I'd probably choose the Logi.

But as I said, no real difference.

I have the cordless one Link which works fine.

From £24.00 inc postage at Amazon, the corded version is cheaper.

Same for you the one that you linked looks good. The only thing is that I read a review saying that it’s in compatible with COD4 I will be using it on COD4 have you had any issues with it on COD4?

Yes, gamepads are all crap with CoD4

As V_R has pointed out, you'll get slaughtered online using a gamepad, it is seriously rubbish with fps's.

And on a serious note, I wouldn't know if there were issues between the Logi and CoD4 as I haven't tried it.

Great for racing games and stuff like Assassin's Creed though

Ok thanks guys, I think I will stick with the keyboard and mouse for COD4 as I don't want to get slaughtered online.

I could use the game pad for Race Driver Grid and other games.
