I`ve just turned on my desk top computer only to find that the cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen. A message came up telling me:
"CursorDeBugger Recycle.exe has stopped working"
Followed by "close this window and Windows will seek a solution"
But of course I can`t close the window.
Can someone please help and tell what is going on.
Very many thanks for any reply.

First thing to do is switch off the computer completely, at the mains if all else fails, and then reboot. Most times this gets the cursor working again. :)

I would state, there is nothing wrong with your cursor (mouse), but there is a real chance you have a 'nasty' on your PC.

every one could do with some basic knowlage of Windows keyboard shortcuts, ALT F4 works wonders, here are some more

First, pop along to ESET online scanner and do a scan.

If you are still experiencing 'problems', pop along to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/

Many thanks to muckshifter and nivrip in answer to my query.
But I`m shamed faced to say that there was nothing wrong with the computer only the operator i.e ME!
The problem was that the mouse usb plug was just about plugged in,so it was doing nothing!! Do I feel like a fool.At the same time I`m pleased that the computer is O.K.
Very many thanks to both of you for taking the time to reply.
