Free Trial Version- can't save files to my actual c:drive? help

I downloaded the free trial version of Office XP 2003 and it's great being
able to use all the programs but I am using them for a class and even though
it lets me save whatever I do on it's own little drive, I can't turn any of
it in because it won't let me copy and paste the file to my own hard drive or
floppy. I sent two assignments in (or thought I did) to my professor and now
I'm pretty sure he didn't get any of them. I have my final coming up
tomorrow and I can't take the final if he doesn't have all of the assignments.
Can someone help me? Please!!!

Well I guess the free version you have has limits on it to keep it from
being used as a replacement for the real version. I would guess that buying
the product will include a key to eliminate this feature.
